People in Human-Rangifer systems
The goal of "Human Role in Reindeer/Caribou Systems" project is to create a network that combines scientists, the user community, indigenous leaders, and those engaged in managing and protecting reindeer/caribou systems. An open database of these people allows scientists, for example, to find easily colleagues working on the similar problems and coordinate their work. We hope to create a field of knowledge that would facilitate effective research and translation of the research work into practical policy solutions. We encourage all those whose work deals with reindeer/caribou systems to join our network. If you have any questions, comments, or additions to the database, please contact Edie Barbour, fnemb@uaf.edu..
